Ivy Quad is a residential project involving Architectural & Structural BIM modeling services done by Advenser. A team size of 6 were engaged in for around 2 months to complete the project in an hourly billing business model.

Project Synopsis

Architectural & Structural BIM modeling of Ivy Quad condominiums, located in South Bend, US marked another milestone in Advenser’s journey. The project was to do Architectural & Structural BIM modeling of the condominiums.

Our scope of services

The client requirements were BIM model and construction document set consisting of modeling of all the structural and architectural elements of the building with the level of detailing 400. Construction documents were extracted from the BIM model itself.

Result

The project was completed within the stipulated time. It took around 2 months to complete BIM modeling of Ivy Quad 3, Ivy Quad 8 with a team of 6 members. CD’s were extracted from the BIM model. For modeling, clash detection and drawing creation Revit suit were utilized.

Imperial Avenue – Residential & Commercial Tower Case Study

An hourly basis business model was adopted on this project which involved modeling, coordination, shop drawing creation, 4D, 5D and 6D BIM modeling.

Project Synopsis

The project building was a 40 storey tower with its base on a distinct 5 storey podium (G+M+4 Podiums). There is a health club level which houses a swimming pool, gymnasium, landscaped gardens with exclusive jogging track and health and leisure facilities. The entire parking lot inclusive of the visitor’s parking area is distributed over the mezzanine and 4 podium levels for the benefit of the residents.

Our scope of services

Advenser’s scope of work in this project included modeling, coordination, shop drawing creation, 4D, 5D and 6D BIM modeling. BIM modeling of the project building was carried our using Revit and coordination & clash detection was accomplished using Navisworks Manage.

Result

The input design drawings were used to develop 3D models for all the elements. The developed 3D model was coordinated with the architectural and structural 3D models. RFIs were filed to the client to notify the special data in the model that were conflicting and unable to be resolved by our team. Issue tracked was used to track the issues.
